Necessary clarifications

Force effects on Dyatlov group. Necessary clarifications.

The described scheme - while general and devoid of essential details - gives rise to several fundamental issues, without which further substantiation of the version is impossible.
First: why did not the forensic medical expert determine the method of causing fatal injuries of Lyudmila Dubinina, Semen Zolotarev and Nikolai Thibault Brignol? And the second: what kind of strange people armed with firearms (but at the same time avoiding its use) could appear in the untrodden snowy desert of the Northern Urals?
The answer to the first question lies, as they say, on the surface. Boris Alekseevich Vozrozdennyi had an experience of forensic medical expert for less than four years, that is, his entire practice as a specialist fell on the second half of the 50's. It was a time of active reform of Stalin's Gulag and a reduction in the number of prisoners. The penitentiary system of the USSR in those years threw a huge number of professional criminals to freedom and the large cities of Siberia and the Urals literally choked under the rampant of violent crimes of all kinds. Street crime was characterized by extreme cruelty and mass character (the "hooligan" in general was a headache of the Soviet power right up to the era of perestroika). But neither professional bandits nor street hooligans did not bother with prolonged sports, so any more or less serious fight, starting with attempts to hit the enemy in the face and head, quickly slipped into a knife fight. Homemade knives, or their substitutes (chisels, screwdrivers, etc.) were worn at that time by almost all the thieves, or "mowed" under such. Therefore, the expert, faced with victims of criminal offenses, saw mostly jaws broken by fists, knocked out teeth, collapsed noses, as well as traces of tarpaulin boots on the body, and, of course, knife injuries ... In other words, the ribs broken by a knee kick are for Sverdlovsk in the second half of the 50's. Exotic. In the Soviet Union, they did not fight and kill like that until the middle of the 1970s, when the enchanting procession of adepts of karate of various degrees of competence began in the dales and banners of our vast homeland. The revived can not be reproached for non-professionalism, it's just that the forensic medical expert did not come across before such injuries caused a person to a person.

How exactly were the injuries caused to Semyon Zolotarev, Nikolai Thibault-Brignol and Lyudmila Dubinina?
In all three cases, we see the same type of damage and this repeatability makes it possible to assume with confidence the use of a similar set of techniques. Apparently, the victim in each case was immobilized by a painful technique on his arm, forcibly brought to the position of "lying", followed by a finishing blow knee in the direction of "top-down". It can not be ruled out that there were two blows in each case - both in the "on the side" position and in the "lying on the back" position, so to speak, for the guaranteed effect. Turning a person by controlling his hand is not at all difficult, translating from one position to another takes literally a fraction of a second. The knee blow from above is of exceptional strength, perhaps this is the most powerful blow from the entire combat arsenal that is given to us by nature due to the inherent human anatomical features. Similar blows are in the arsenal of all schools of hand-to-hand fighting - from classical Japanese Jiu-Jitsu, to its modern Brazilian variety, aikido, Soviet combat sambo, numerous styles of karate, Thai boxing, etc.
There are serious arguments in favor of the fact that it was exactly the way the dead woods were inflicted to these "Dyatlovites". What are these arguments?
The first such argument is that we have a very precise localization of the place of application of the traumatic load (impact). The fractures of the ribs of Dubinina and Zolotarev begin with the 2nd rib and do not affect the collarbone. The clavicle bone is very easy for fracture, the force of its break is only 15 kg.! Children and women in the course of self-defense are trained to beat the palm of a hand in the collarbone to an adult man - and this is a very effective technical action, because even a child is able to break a collarbone to a big man. However, the knee-jerk is never applied to the collarbone for a very simple reason - the knee can slip off the torso and stick into the ground. And there are pebbles, boughs, and just hard ground - and the risk of injuring your leg is very high. Therefore, the finishing stroke is below the collarbone. But not too low, not in the stomach. The belly of the trained person protects the muscles of the press up to 3 cm in thickness (and even more), it is practically impossible to inflict a fatal trauma through such a muscle corset. In such muscles, not only needles for injections are not stuck, but even nails can not be hammered (and this is not a joke, such tricks can sometimes be seen in a circus!). On the belly of a well-trained fighter, you can run in tarpaulin boots or boots-turtles and he will not even suffocate, will rise to his feet as if nothing had happened. Therefore, finishing off with a knee is applied to the head of a lying person, or in the chest below the collarbone, but not in the stomach or groin. Therefore, let us repeat once again - the blows of Dubinina and Zolotarev were made from the point of view of any connoisseur who understands the nuances of hand-to-hand combat, very competently, very selectively, very accurately. And this sight is not accidental at all, because we should not forget that Semyon was 5 cm taller than Lyudmila, had a different constitution and was dressed quite differently. However, the one who beat, did not miss, hit as necessary, just so that to kill for sure.

Anyone who is willing or doubting can independently go deeper into the study of this topic. To make it now it is quite simple, because practically in any city there are sports sections of the appropriate profile and specialists who can get a full-time consultation.
After this little digression, let us return to the plot of our narrative ...
The second serious indication that at least Nicholas Thibault Brignol was killed precisely as described above, and no other, is a very characteristic trauma, described by the forensic expert on his hand (literally: "In the area of the right shoulder on the anterior-internal surface of the spilled bruise size 10x12 cm of greenish-blue color at the level of the middle lower third .In the area of bruising, hemorrhage into the underlying soft tissues "). In order to understand what is being discussed, we will make a small digression. Painful grasp on the arm, by means of which the opponent from the standing position is transferred to the "lying" position, is usually performed by putting pressure on the thumb of the hand and wringing the wrist towards the elbow. On this movement - in principle very simple and extremely effective - a lot of technical actions are based, for example, liberation from the seizure of clothing, detachment of the arm from the support, etc. This, so to speak, in theory. However, in practice it is not always good to break a rascal's hand, especially if the scoundrel belongs to the European race (in Europe, unlike the Asians, because of the anatomical constitution, the shoulder girdle and arms are much stronger). If the enemy has twisted a wrench for 20 years or knocked a sledge hammer, even Schwarzenegger will get tired of breaking his wrist. Sometimes among people who never took up sports, there are specimens with a phenomenal force in the hands and wrists - this is a fact that has been tested by time and experience. Therefore, painful reception on the thumb and wrist is usually supplemented by a twisting of the arm in the elbow joint. This, so to speak, the classic hand-to-hand combat - break your hand not in one place, somewhere, yes, you'll break it! But the painful reception "on the elbow" in the "standing" position requires a rigid grip of the shoulder, more precisely, the lower third of the shoulder, above the elbow joint. To twist the forearm, you need to fix the shoulder. The human skin on the inner sides of the forearms and shoulder (and also in the armpit) is contentedly tender and with bruising quickly bruises are formed. Any sambo wrestler or judoka, after taking off his jacket after training, saw these recognizable bruises on his body. So it was this bruise that the forensic scientist noted on the hand of Nikolai Thibault-Brignol. And where exactly? On the lower third of the right shoulder. The magnitude of the bruise 10.0 * 12.0 cm is the size of the male palm with the fingers clasped around the arm. The most incredulous can right now take a ruler and measure their own palm.

Painful reception on the elbow - it's not even getting into the top ten - it's generally the only reasonable explanation for the appearance of such a large bruise on a hard-to-reach (in terms of injury) place. No fall on rocks, trunks of trees, no avalanches and "slabs of firn snow" can explain the origin of this unusual damage. And on the right hand, mind you, the shock, because the right-hander beats with his right hand! By the way, both woolen gloves of Thibault were found in the right (!) Pocket of the jacket. "Investigators" of the tragedy of Igor Dyatlov's group seriously believed that Nikolai Thibaut was unconscious and therefore did not wear gloves ... They simply did not have the experience to understand that Thibault Brignol simply took off his gloves in order to squeeze the Finnish knife with his bare hand ... He rushed to attack on his enemy with a knife in his right hand and a hard painful attack on the enemy was on his right hand. And then finished off by kicking the knee in the temple. However, it is quite possible that the death blow was inflicted not by the person who kept Nikolay "on pain", but his partner - we can not know such details and, probably, we will never know.
How difficult is it to break several edges with a knee? Quite simply. Fractures of human edges are possible even with the application of force of only 35 kg.! This is confirmed by numerous cases of traumatizing people during attempts to make them artificial respiration. Of course, there are no targeted attacks in this case, of course, multiple fractures are possible when you press the relaxed chest with your palm open.
Similarly, the skull can also be destroyed, although it is much stronger than the rib bones. The stability of the shape of even the most solid structure of our skeleton - the skull - is clearly lower than the magnitude of those destructive influences that are created at the moment of impact by the fist or knee. For forensic medicine, there is no question whether a punch can cause a crack in the bones of the skull. The answer is unequivocally positive, the statistics of traumatization testify to this (all interested persons are referred to the very informative article of Dr. A. N. Belykh "Informativeness of the diagnostic characteristics of head injuries from fist shocks, and not from the fall caused by the actions of the unarmed man", published in "Almanac of Forensic Medicine »N2, 2001. Based on the study of huge statistics - more than 2.5 thousand cases of damage to the skull bones - Dr. AN Belikh makes an unambiguous conclusion about the possibility of complex fractures one or more bones of the skull with a fist in the front, for example, fracture of the frontal sinus - 36 cases, fracture of the base of the skull - 18 cases, fracture of the parietal bone fracture in the absence of an abrasion strike - 5 cases and fracture of the parietal bone with the formation of a bruise in the place of impact - 6 cases, fractures of the bones of the face - 44 cases, etc.) And if the human skull can be destroyed by a blow of the hand, then there can be no doubt that this can happen with a kick (heel or knee).

The second question - about the origin of strange people with firearms - is much more interesting and the answer to it is completely unreadable. In fact, in this essay it has already been shown that there can be no question of any Mansi hunters or Soviet special forces. Then what kind of people are they?
When the author of this essay in one of the forums devoted to the history of the group Igor Dyatlov wrote about the activities in the Urals of reconnaissance groups from NATO countries, this caused among the notorious "explorers" a truly enchanting splash of fun. It seemed to them that they heard a rare nonsense of stupidity. In their own eyes, these "connoisseurs" seemed so competent in all matters that they did not come up with anything cleverer than hearing a new point of view, how to make her laugh. Nobody could believe that American scouts can ski and survive in the North Urals.

The frightening ignorance of the forum visitors, who have been "researching" the collection of the same photographs and documents for years, certainly deserves regret. But due to the obvious ignorance of the domestic history by a significant part of the Internet audience, it makes sense to make a lengthy but absolutely necessary excursion into the history of our Motherland in order to show that the scouts of NATO countries could not only appear in the Urals in the 50s of the last century, but and they were there actually and even acted very, very actively. And the meeting of Igor Dyatlov's group with those was quite possible. Moreover, such a meeting could be far from accidental. It could predetermine some significant circumstances long before the events described. In other words, young people turned out to be pawns in a complex multi-way combination, started without their knowledge in a completely different place.
